 The City Uniting Church is a community of women, men and children
seeking to live out a vital Christian faith.
As a multicultural community of faith we provide a place of nurture and healing, where all people are welcome. Through our location as a city church, we seek to respond to the needs of Canberra.
We are also concerned about the needs of Australia and the rest of the world. We are a congregation of the Uniting Church in Australia. We affirm its traditions, and desire to live and work with people of other denominations and faiths. As matters of principle, we affirm the world and the goodness of God's creation; we remain open to new ideas and interpretations; and give leadership and responsibility to our members. We are committed to spiritual growth and to an ordered, thoughtful and creative liturgy. |
